#public #announcement Bonne nouvelle :) Snippy supporte maintenant l'internationalisation. (vous devriez le voir si votre langage de prédilection est le français sur Internet) Si des gens sont volontaires pour traduire dans d'autres langues, contactez-moi (chloe.desoutter@gmail.com)

Good news! Snippy now supports internationalization. For the moment the only languages supported are French and English but if you feel like volunteering to translate it in other languages, get in touch with me ! (chloe.desoutter@gmail.com)

@genji: merci pour la correction ;)

#public #announcement #tutorial Snippy supports both code and text.

This means you can store system administration scripts, useful code snippets, cooking recipes, URLs to remember, and basically whatever you want to keep sorted and tagged.

Snippy is not like Twitter: there is no plan to make it a live news or social network.
It's not like Pastebin either because it is not volatile. With the same #hashtags you are used to using everyday you can sort your snippets, tag them, categorize them, and find them after a while. If you feel like sharing your data, you can tag your entries #public. In case you regret this, edit, remove the #public hashtag, and your snippet goes private again.

Snippy is a user-made knowledge database.

It's been designed for system administrators, developers and the IT crowd in general, but everyone can use it because its hashtagging principle makes it ideal to save and sort info.

I hope you'll have a good time with Snippy.

Registration is quick and easy, and we will not send you spam or boring newsletters you don't want. There isn't even an e-mail check though we may set it up in the event spam occurs too much.
